Thunderbird

IMPORTANT! Please no not change your account information or server information to reflect the those you see in the screen shots. They are simply a visual tool to help you find the check box in your email program to turn on SMTP authentication. Simply follow the step by step instructions to turn on SMTP authentication.

To configure Thunderbird

1. Close all programs
2. Open Thunderbird.
3. Click the Tools menu, and select Account Settings...

4. Click on Server Settings
5. Make sure your User Name is your fully qualified email address

6. From the left hand side click on Outgoing Server (SMTP)

7. Highlight the Cyberlink SMTP Server and click the Edit Button

8. Change the Port to 587
9. Click OK to close all windows and save your changes. You're done!

10. Click Send/Receive to start sending mail.
