Outlook 2007 |
IMPORTANT! Please no not change your account information or server information to reflect the those you see in the screen shots. They are simply a visual tool to help you find the check box in your email program to turn on SMTP authentication. Simply follow the step by step instructions to turn on SMTP authentication.
To configure Outlook 2007for Authentication
1. Close all programs
2. Open Outlook 2007.
3. Click the Tools menu, and select Account Settings...
4. Highlight your email account and click the Change button.

5. Click the More Settings button.

6. Click the box that says My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication

7 Cick on Advance Tab

7. Change the Outgoing server (SMTP) to 587
8.
Click OK. You're done!
9. Click NEXT, then click FINISH. Close the Change Email Accounts window and click Send/Receive to start sending mail. |
