Apple Mail 2

IMPORTANT! Please no not change your account information or server information to reflect the those you see in the screen shots. They are simply a visual tool to help you find the check box in your email program to turn on SMTP authentication. Simply follow the step by step instructions to turn on SMTP authentication.

Apple Mail 2 Authentication Instructions

1. Open Apple Mail
2. Click Mail, and select Preferences…

3. Click on the Accounts tab, and highlight the account on the left hand side.

4. Ensure the Incoming mail server is set to pop.csystems.net
5. Under Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP): , click Server Settings

6. Ensure that smtp.csystems.net is in the ‘Outgoing Mail Server’ and the Server Port is set to 587
7. Click on the Authentication drop down select Password and enter your email address and password.

8. Click OK
9. You’re Done, you can now close any windows still open on your computer to return to your email program.
